In June 2022 I exhibited my work at K-fest. K-fest gives artists unused spaces in the town of Killorglin to showcase their work. After the Covid-19 pandemic this was the perfect opportunity to interact with viewers. Vistors to K-fest were welcome to try on my armour, and offer their feedback on the experience.
Sutured Resilience was a collaborative exhibition featuring myself, Chanika Svetvilas, and Jennifer Cabral. We wrote a proposal for an exhibition with themes of trauma and resilience in February 2020 at the start of the pandemic. The exhibition opened in August of 2021 at Artworks Art Center in Treton, NJ USA.
I exhibited my Blinder Collars and props from my performance Cut It Out Suck It Up. My performance was played on loop on a tablet displayed inside the Blinder Collar used in the performance.
